Latest Government Guidance
Following the Government announcement last night, estate agents can continue to operate and the housing market in England is still open.
The government’s official guidance for England says that agents, as with all other workers, are advised to work from home where possible. But specifically it adds:
You can still move home. People outside your household or support bubbleshould not help with moving house unless absolutely necessary.
Estate and letting agents and removals firms can continue to work. If you are looking to move, you can go to property viewings.
Follow the national guidance on moving home safely, which includes advice on social distancing, letting fresh air in, and wearing a face covering.
In addition to the national guidance, we have already have in place a number of measures when conducting viewings, market appraisals and all other face to face appointments. We would ask all customers and clients to respectfully follow the guidance provided to ensure we protect each other.
During this time, we would urge contact by telephone or email as much as possible and visits to our offices will be by appointment only.
Thank you and stay safe.
